Evolution’s platform strategy in Vietnam
Evolution is developing its Vietnam platform through a joint venture with HTC International Telecommunication JSC (HITC), combining Evolution’s experience in hyperscale data centre delivery with HITC’s established telecommunications infrastructure and local market presence. This gives the platform both technical depth and strong in-country execution capability.
The strategy is built around two key locations:
VN01 Hanoi, through the expansion HITC’s existing EcoDC facility in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, and VN02 Ho Chi Minh City through the development of a new hyperscale campus in Saigon Hi-Tech Park.
This North–South approach enables Evolution to serve Vietnam’s two principal economic centres while creating a broader nationwide digital infrastructure footprint.
VN01 Hanoi: Existing capacity with expansion potential
The Hanoi component of the platform is based at VN01 in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park. This facility is operational now and provides 4.75 MW of IT load, with five data halls, up to 750 racks, carrier-neutral connectivity, and dual grid connections from diverse substations. It also supports both air and liquid cooling options, helping position the site for a range of enterprise, cloud, and high-density workloads.
Its location within Hoa Lac places it in an established technology and telecommunications environment, supporting connectivity, operational reliability, and future growth. The site provides Evolution with an immediate foothold in northern Vietnam while supporting phased expansion over time.
VN02 Ho Chi Minh City: Hyperscale growth in the south
In southern Vietnam, Evolution is developing a new hyperscale data centre presence in Saigon Hi-Tech Park, one of Ho Chi Minh City’s leading industrial and technology zones. This project is intended to provide large-scale future capacity in the country’s biggest commercial market and complements the Hanoi facility by extending the platform’s reach across Vietnam.
